A Sectoral Meeting on Meta Advertising at IGU Advertising Department
The Advertising Department of the Faculty of Economics, Administrative and Social Sciences at Istanbul Gelisim University hosted an important event that brought together academia and the industry. As part of this event, Eda Mezda and Burcu Ozeksi from izyGrow Agency, one of the department’s external stakeholders, met with students and shared their up-to-date knowledge and professional experiences on Meta advertising management.
During the event, the speakers addressed the role of Meta platforms within the rapidly evolving dynamics of digital advertising. They focused on key topics such as campaign planning, target audience analysis, budget management, and performance measurement. The use of real campaign examples enabled students to combine their theoretical knowledge with practical insights.
Participants had the opportunity to gain first-hand information from industry professionals while developing a comprehensive understanding of current trends and practices in digital advertising. The event not only contributed to students’ professional development but also highlighted the significance of strengthening university–industry collaborations.
The event was successfully moderated by Advertising Department student Melike Meran, whose contribution played a significant role in the smooth execution of the program. Her effective presentation and coordination ensured the overall success of the event.
