A Visit to the Atlas Cinema Museum as Part of the Media History Course

During our visit to the Atlas Cinema Museum as part of the field trip, we aimed to help our students reinforce the theoretical knowledge they had gained in class by examining media history artifacts and materials firsthand. In addition, by visiting various exhibition spaces in Taksim, we sought to help our students develop their artistic perspectives and gain cultural awareness.

This meaningful field trip was organized in collaboration with Yelda Ülker and Aydan Ünlükaya Çevirici. Accompanying our students’ enthusiasm for learning and their curiosity to explore was extremely valuable to us. We believe that such activities, where academic learning is supported by hands-on experience, make significant contributions to students’ professional and cultural development.
