Advertising Department Students Visited Soneo Digital Advertising Agency
Students of the Advertising Department at the Faculty of Economics, Administrative and Social Sciences of Istanbul Gelişim University visited Soneo Digital Advertising Agency to get to know the industry closely and observe professional practices on-site. Guided by Asst. Prof. İpek Işılay, the technical visit was held in Beyoğlu on October 16, 2025, between 11:00 and 14:00.
During the visit, students had the opportunity to learn how digital advertising processes are managed and which methods are used in content and strategy production for brands. The Soneo team shared with students the agency’s working methods in areas such as campaign planning, social media management, performance measurement, and data analytics. In addition, a comprehensive presentation was made on the role of artificial intelligence and digital transformation in contemporary advertising.
The event allowed students to reinforce their theoretical knowledge through real industry experience. Participants closely observed the advertising agency environment and gained direct insights into teamwork, client relations, and creative processes. Asst. Prof. İpek Işılay emphasized that such visits expand students’ professional vision and stated, “Understanding the dynamics of digital advertising in practice is extremely important for our students’ future career plans.”
The visit concluded as both an educational and inspiring experience for the students.
