“Advertising Design in Photoshop” Training Held at IGU Department of Advertising

The training was led by Research Assistant Ece Demirkapu from the Department of Advertising, aiming to equip students with the technical knowledge and practical skills required to design digital advertising visuals at professional standards. Within the scope of the training, participants were introduced to the fundamental tools of Adobe Photoshop, while topics such as visual editing, composition creation, typography usage, and creative concept development were addressed through hands-on applications.

During the training process, advertising design examples were also analyzed in order to enhance students’ visual analysis skills, while providing them with the opportunity to apply their theoretical knowledge in practice. Participants actively engaged in the creative process by producing their own advertising designs. In this respect, the training contributed not only to the development of technical skills but also to the enhancement of strategic advertising thinking.

Such practice-oriented trainings organized by the Department of Advertising continue to support students’ professional development and prepare them for the dynamics of the sector. The program provided participants with the opportunity to experience creative production processes and made a significant contribution to their competencies in the field of digital advertising.
