Istanbul Gelisim University Faculty of Economics, Administrative and Social Sciences, Department of Advertising students Enes Arık, Esma Duymaz, Ceren Öye, Nevin Melin, Mostafa Ajidegh, Nazlı Gül Kılıç, Sevde Can and Ata Selçuk carried out a collage poster work with the theme of social awareness.
Under the supervision of Sucu, the students designed collage posters to draw attention to various social problems and create social awareness. The focus of the work was to evoke a deep thought and emotion in the audience by using the power of communication design. This study aims to provide students with practical experience in the field of communication design as well as raising awareness about social responsibility awareness and sensitivity.
The posters showcased the creativity of the students by emphasising social issues such as poverty, racism, war, child brides and animal rights. Within the scope of the study, it was aimed to make students feel the potential and responsibility to create change in the audience with the posters they designed.
Students came together to create an impressive poster design by combining various visual and textual elements within the scope of this study, which aims to raise awareness and sensitivity to social issues. The poster study aims to emphasise the social impact of communication design by drawing attention to various social issues and raising awareness in society.
