The conversation titled “A New Channel in Advertising: E-sports” organized by the Istanbul Gelisim University, Faculty of Economics, Administrative and Social Sciences, Advertising Department was held on Thursday, December 9, 2021, between 12:00 and 13:00, in the auditorium no. 305 in J Block.
Chairman of Mobilizzy Media Çağrı Işıklıoğlu talked about e-sports, which is very popular today, at the event with a high participation rate. The conversation proceeded through Işıklıoğlu's briefings on the motivations that lead people to play, the importance of playing games, the historical development of digital games, and the situation of e-sports in the world and in Turkey. Işıklıoğlu explained that e-sports is an important channel for advertisers, with examples given by companies investing in this field.
The event ended after Assist.Prof.Dr. Eda Mezda presented Çağrı Işıklıoğlu with his plaque and thanked him.
