Istanbul Gelisim University (IGU), which stood out in 6 areas last year, stood out in 10 areas this year with its studies. In the ‘Sustainability’ category, which is one of the evaluations made by the Council of Higher Education, IGU ranked at the top with its efforts in the fields of water saving investment and energy efficiency investment per amount of water consumed, and maintained its 1st place as the university with the most accredited undergraduate programmes.
The ‘University Monitoring and Evaluation General Report-2024’, in which YÖK evaluated 201 universities in Turkey according to 64 different indicators, was published. Istanbul Gelisim University (IGU) ranked 1st in the category of the university with the highest use of energy efficiency investment and water saving investment per amount of water consumed, while IGU, which is taking firm steps towards internationalisation, maintained its 1st place as the university with the most accredited undergraduate programmes among both public and foundation universities.
