According to the statement made by Ahmet Bolat, Chairman of the Board of Directors and Executive Committee of THY, a "Pet Lounge" will be established at Istanbul Airport in order to provide the most suitable conditions for passengers' pets before the flight. Bolat reminded that passengers' pets can be carried in the cabin section of the aircraft when certain criteria are met, and stated that Pet Lounge works have been initiated in order to ensure that both pets that can be carried in the cabin and pets that cannot be carried in the cabin can make the best use of their time before the flight. The Pet Lounge project is expected to be completed by the end of the year.
