Erasmus+ Student Exchange

The Erasmus (European Region Action Scheme for the Mobility of University Students) Program is a student exchange program between European countries that has been running since 1987.
 

 

With the Erasmus Program, you can continue your education in another country for 3-12 months. During this exchange period, the European Union supports you with grants provided according to its resources. The courses you take during the program will be recognized upon your return, allowing you to spend 1 or 2 semesters in another European country without losing a semester.
 

 

APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS
 

 

Application requirements may vary for each academic year. Therefore, the current requirements are stated in the announcement text published for the relevant academic year. However, the general principles are as follows:
 

 

1. The student must be at least in their second year of study during the semester they will participate in the program and have at least 30 ECTS credits worth of courses that can be retaken before graduation.
 

 

2. The GPA must be at least 2.20/4.00 at the Associate/Bachelor's degree level and at least 2.50/4.00 at the Master's and Doctoral degree levels.

 

Note: Students participating in the mobility program must be full-time students and have a course load that allows them to pursue 30 ECTS credits for the semester they will be studying.
