Why This Module?

The Twin Transition and Sustainability Module has been designed to support students in adapting to the processes of digitalization and green transformation taking place in the fields of international trade and business. Through this module, students will develop a more holistic perspective that encompasses not only the environmental dimension but also sustainable business management, ESG practices, carbon management, the circular economy, and green transformation. In addition, the module aims to equip students with interdisciplinary knowledge and skills in areas such as digital transformation, the green economy, sustainable finance, and sustainable business management.

6. Module Overview

The Twin Transition and Sustainability Module aims to equip students in the Department of International Trade and Business with up-to-date knowledge and competencies in the fields of digital transformation and sustainability. Within the scope of the module, students develop interdisciplinary competencies in areas such as digitalization, green transformation, sustainable finance, sustainable business management, and the circular economy by completing four elective courses related to these fields. Students who successfully complete the module are awarded a micro-credential certificate, providing formal recognition of the knowledge and skills they have acquired. The module contributes to students’ ability to develop the competencies required by the changing global business environment, strengthen their employability, and prepare for sustainability-oriented career opportunities.
