SCTUAM Visited The Climate Change Presidency

The Sustainable Environment and Society Application and Research Center (SCTUAM), operating under Istanbul Gelişim University and directed by our department faculty member Assoc. Prof. Başak ÖZARSLAN, met with officials from the Climate Change Presidency within the scope of the COP31 process. During the meeting, comprehensive information was shared regarding the planned activities for COP31, the preparation process, and Türkiye’s roles and responsibilities within this framework.

Within the scope of the meeting, the potential contributions of Istanbul Gelişim University and SCTUAM to the COP31 process through climate change mitigation efforts, sustainability policies, and scientific research were discussed. It was stated that Istanbul Gelişim University and SCTUAM are ready to provide academic and scientific support at every stage of the COP31 process.
