Borsa İstanbul (BIST) Trip, organized by the International Trade and Finance Department on 12 December 2018, provided students with the opportunity to see the theoretical information they saw in the course in practice. Thus, students had the opportunity to see one of the institutions that direct the economic practices of the country.
The effects of COVID-19 on globalization were explained in the online conference prepared by the Department of International Trade and Finance on 05 November 2020 where economist Ece Pulaş was a speaker.
"Pandemic, Income Distribution, and Unemployment" online seminar organized by our department on 20 May 2021, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Onur Özdemir was joined as a speaker.
Our "Financial Literacy" panel, attended by experts in the field, was held on Google Meet on 27 April 2023. Our event, which was given a certificate of participation, attracted much attention and was completed with a high participation rate.
On 05.10.2023-06.10.2023, the “7th Economics and Finance” Conference organized in cooperation with the University of the West of England Bristol and Azerbaijan State University of Economics was held online and face-to-face.
On 14.12.2023, the panel titled “Turkish Economy from Past to Present on the Basis of the 100th Anniversary of the Republic of Turkey” organized by the Department of International Trade and Finance (Tr-Eng) was held online.
On 08.01.2024, a panel on “Digitalization and Sustainability in the Finance World” was held with the moderation of Assoc. Prof. Ebru Gül Yılmaz, faculty member of the Department of International Trade and Finance, and Engin Deniz, TEB Digital Banking Channel Development Manager.
On 22.03.2024, “TEB Foreign Trade Operations Visit” was organized under the coordination of Assoc. Prof. Ebru Gül Yılmaz, faculty member of the Department of International Trade and Finance, with the participation of the students of the department.
On 02.09.2024, “Climate Crisis and Economics Panel” was held under the coordination of Assoc. Prof. Ebru Gül Yılmaz, faculty member of the Department of International Trade and Finance, with the participation of the students of the department.
