Department of International Trade and Finance
The Department of International Trade and Finance, which provides its graduates with the opportunity to build a career in various fields with its enhanced curriculum and the variety of its subjects of interests, was founded by Prof. Dr. Osman Zekai Orhan, the first head of the department. It is one of the first three departments opened by the founder dean of Istanbul Gelisim University, Faculty of Economics, Administrative and Social Sciences.
The Department of International Trade and Finance, which is one of the oldest programs of our faculty, produced its first graduates in 2015. The Department of International Trade and Finance, which continues its studies with our university’s objective of internationalization, carries out its activities on grounds of “Commercial Globalization and Sustainability” principles so as to enable its students to gain an international vision. The Department of International Trade and Finance,successfully completed its AQAS accreditation processes that involved the whole institution as of 2017.
