Message from Head of Department
Dear Students,
The Chair of the International Trade and Finance Department
We live in an age where scientific processes and current techniques rapidly change and transform. In this context, the renewal of contemporary knowledge from day to day necessitates the updating of the theoretical habits of longstanding methods and disciplines. The bases of scientific changes must be well embraced for a correct understanding of the future. The incorporation of knowledge-based transformational processes and related theoretical structures into scientific topics should be located in the aims of universities as an absolute necessity. In addition, one of the fundamental objectives of the universities should be to train academicians who will contribute to science as well as educate well-trained and technically equipped people for business life.
As the International Trade and Finance Department, we consider that the coordination of the changes in the current discipline based on these scientific orientations and transferring them to our students are one the most important responsibilities among the others. In particular, globalization and the developments in the trade regime ongoing with increasing globalized relations need to be transferred to our students in the light of integrated knowledge. In this context, as the International Trade Department and Finance, one of our most important goals of us is to interpret the transformations in this discipline based on the changes in other disciplines and to transfer them within their different dimensions. All in all, our program is primarily aimed at improving the skills and abilities of the students in solving problems they encounter in their daily life, business world, and academic future, who are equipped with the necessary technical, institutional, and practical means.
I wish you success to all of our students who continue their education in our program that incorporates scientific developments into the curriculum as a whole with current business areas.
