Condolences to Our Nation
In the 7.7 magnitude earthquake disaster, the epicenter of which is Pazarcık district of Kahramanmaraş and causing great destruction in 10 provinces; We wish God's mercy on our citizens who lost their lives, our condolences to their families and our nation, and a speedy recovery to our wounded.
After the great disaster, changes were made regarding the education activities at our university. Relevant decisions are listed below.
- Postponing the starting date of classes to 17.02.2023,
- Extension of course registrations until 28.02.2023,
- Exemption of students who have an excuse due to the earthquake from the obligation to attend classes for the first two weeks,
- Giving the right to take the exam at a later date for students who have an excuse due to the earthquake and cannot take the grade increase exam with a single course,
- Providing all kinds of convenience to our students and staff as Istanbul Gelisim University.
