International Trade And Finance

Dr. Nino Lobzhanidze gave a lecture in our department within the scope of KA-171 Project!

Within the scope of the KA-171 project, Dr. Nino Lobzhanidze from Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University of Georgia came to our Department of International Trade and Finance.

The KA-171 project is an important mobility activity carried out within the scope of the Erasmus+ program supported by the European Union. This program is designed to promote international cooperation between higher education institutions, increase academic capacity, and improve the quality of education. KA-171 focuses particularly on exchanges with non-EU partner countries. Turkey is active in this context as both a sending and hosting country. Thanks to KA-171, academic and administrative staff have the opportunity to participate in short-term teaching or training activities in higher education institutions in different countries. Within the scope of teaching mobility, visiting academics undertake a teaching role at the host institution for a specific period.
In contrast, training mobility allows staff to participate in activities supporting their professional development. One of the program's main objectives is to ensure that participants gain international experience and develop their intercultural understanding. At the same time, it contributes to the formation of sustainable partnerships by strengthening academic collaborations. The sharing of knowledge, skills, and good practices between institutions is encouraged, which supports both individual development and the increase in quality between institutions. As a result, KA-171 is a strategic activity that strengthens international academic cooperation, encourages knowledge sharing, and offers a global perspective in education. Such mobilities are one of the important tools for improving quality and internationalization in higher education.

In this context, within the scope of the KA-171 project, Dr. Nino Lobzhanidze from Ivane Javakhishvili University of Tbilisi, Georgia came to our Department of International Trade and Finance to teach Macroeconomics.
