Management Information Systems Department Research Assistant Süreyya İmre and International Trade and Finance Department Research Assistant Ceren Demir participated in the 5th INTERNATIONAL ECONOMY AND FINANCE CONFERENCE with their work titled "An Empirical Analysis for Food Sector and COVID-19 Relationship in Turkey".
INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON ECONOMICS AND FINANCE about Sustainable Economic and Financial Development after the Pandemic was held between 25-26 May 2021. Research Assistants Süreyya İmre and Ceren Demir presented their paper titled "An Empirical Analysis for Food Sector and COVID-19 Relationship in Turkey".
In the study that researched the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic on the food sector, the increases and decreases in the food sector have been determined since the first period of the pandemic in our country. It has been observed that these increases and decreases displayed a parallel movement with the restrictions taken within the scope of pandemic measures.
