 Panel on "Criminal Literature and Cinema" was Held

A panel titled "Criminal Literature and Cinema" was held by Istanbul Gelisim University, Public Opinion and Community Research and Application Center.
The panel was organized by Istanbul Gelisim University, Public Opinion and Community Research and Application Center on April 3 at Rectorate building hall number Z-105 with the participation of criminal authors Armağan Tunaboylu and Ercan Akbay. Ercan Akbay, known for his thriller novels on the psychology of crime, explained the emergence of criminal literature, the first examples and development of the genre. Armağan Tunaboylu, who wrote a series of four detective novels called "Criminal Stories of Metin Çakır” and whose novel named "Celebrity Murders" was adapted into screen as  "Devil's Feather" gave a talk about the movie adaptations of criminal novels.
 
The authors discussed the place of criminal novels in Turkish literature and answered the questions of the audience. At the end of panel open to all, Assistant Professor Dr. Sinem Tuna has presented the plates to participants.
