The Middle East region has been at the centre of international politics for a long time, due to both the global power struggle in the region and the ethnic and sectarian-based conflicts between the countries in the region and the terrorism and refugee crises arising from the political vacuum created by these conflicts. All the struggles, conflicts and crises experienced cause the Middle East region to undergo political, economic, and social change continuously.
