Hold hands together for sports

Istanbul Gelisim University Public Relations and Publicity Department students, Galatasaray Sports Schools Bahçelievler, AYKA Sports Club and Erman Kunter Basketball Academy provided space and with the support of the instructors, the event organized for young people to increase their love for sports. In the project, which was held under the supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. İpek Sucu, the students of the department, Didem Temel, Cemre Erden, Büşra Yapıcı, Uğur Koç, Yılmaz Akdiş and Mustafa Sait Çelik, spent time with children to introduce them with sports. The aim of the project was to train individuals who are engaged in sports, together with the participants, sports were carried out, with the food and the gifts given to the participants. Especially children with inadequate financial circumstances who wanted to do sports participated in the activity. During the project, children were encouraged to enjoy sports, to gain a sports skill and to raise their awareness about sports. At the end of the project, the children thanked Istanbul Gelisim University stated that they want these kinds of activities to increase and they want sports to become a part of their lives.
