İstanbul Gelişim University Faculty of Economics, Administrative and Social Sciences Faculty, Vice Head of Department of Advertising Assist. Prof. Dr. İpek Sucu and Public Relations and Publicity Department graduate Gökhan Çolak’s “Reflections of Bitter Life and Innonce TV Series on Gender Norms, Communication in The Media and Characters” was published. In the study, which consists of the main titles of Gender Awareness and Factors Forming Gender Roles, Gender and Sexuality, Otherized Women and Gender Norms in Communication in Turkish Media, and Analysis of Bitter Life TV series, the impressions of the dominance of gender roles over genders were examined and the effects on the audience were discussed.
