On February 18, 2019 at 16:00 at İstanbul Gelişim University (İGÜ) Board of Trustees Abdülkadir GAYRETLİ, Rector. Dr. 2016-2019 Academic Year Meeting of Faculty of Economics, Administrative and Social Sciences was held with the participation of Burhan AYKAÇ and faculty members.

 

Speaking at the inaugural meeting of the Academic Council, İstanbul Gelişim University (İGÜ), Acting Dean, Faculty of Economics, Administrative and Social Sciences (İİSBF). Dr. Kürşat YALÇİNER started her speech with the wish that the new academic year will bring success and health to our faculty and university. Professor Dr. Prof. Dr. Kürşat YALÇİNER stated that the meetings of the Academic Council Meetings were evaluated in which both the past period was evaluated and the expectations and practices of the new period were discussed. made a strong emphasis that it was to drive forward.

 

Professor Dr. Kürşat YALÇİNER included 20 academicians in our seminar in February 2019 and also stated that 124 faculty members had been reached, and that they would turn to the employment of foreign faculty members in the new period in order to meet the increasing demand of foreign students and meet the needs of the English programs.

Professor Dr. Kürşat YALÇİNER shared the details of the 269 broadcasting activities in 2018 with the audience and informed the participants that the publication activities and the BAP projects of the faculty members coming together with the double-triple formations will be supported with additional contributions.

 

Stressing the importance of international congresses and symposiums in the development and recognition of universities. Dr. Kürşat YALÇİNER, International Symposium on International Middle East, organized by the Faculty of Economics, Administrative and Social Sciences in April 2019, IV. International New Media Conference and III. He said that the International Economy, Finance and Management Conference made a great contribution to the establishment of a feverish working climate at the faculty and thanked all academicians involved in the organizations.

 

The meeting ended with the introduction of 20 academicians who started working in February 2019.
