Upon invitation from Assist. Prof. Murat Güven, Foreign Trade Expert of the Ministry of Trade of the Republic of Turkey and D-8 Program Officer, Ms. Damla Haciibrahimoğlu made a presentation on career opportunities in public sector on at Istanbul Gelisim University.

The presentation received great interest from the “Economy and Finance” and “International Trade” undergraduates. Ms. Haciibrahimoğlu explained respective steps to be taken in order to pursue a career in public sector, specifically in the Ministry of Trade as well as providing the students with an understanding of the expected qualities from a public servant. Participants were further informed about future prospects and career steps in the Ministry. In line with the inquiries at the "Questions & Answers" session, Ms. Haciibrahimoglu also briefed the students about entry requirements and working environments of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Capital Markets Board and the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey.
