The 8th Middle East Symposium, which has been hosted by Istanbul Gelisim University for seven years, has been entitled to be supported within the scope of "2223-B Domestic Scientific Event Organizing Support" carried out by TUBITAK Directorate of Scientist Support Programs (BİDEB). The 8th Middle East Symposium will be held at Istanbul Gelisim University on October 24-25-26, 2023.
The 8th Middle East Symposium, hosted by Istanbul Gelisim University for seven years, will take place on October 24-25-26, 2023. The project, which is entitled to be supported within the scope of "2223-B Domestic Scientific Event Organizing Support" carried out by TÜBİTAK Directorate of Scientific Support Programs (BİDEB), will be held this year with the theme of "Middle East in the Spiral of Expectations and Uncertainties". As in previous years, the symposium is expected to be attended by a large number of local and foreign academics and experts on the subject.
HIGH INTEREST IN THE SYMPOSIUM
The symposium will be held under the leadership of Istanbul Gelisim University (IGU) Political and Social Research Center (IGUSAM) and with the organization of many national and international stakeholders such as Diplomacy Foundation, ODAP (Middle East, Eurasia, Asia-Pacific Research Platform), TASCA (Turkish-Arab-African Strategic Cooperation Council) and MOKHA Strategic Research Center. IGU, which has been hosting the organization for seven years, will organize the Middle East Symposium for the 8th time this year on 24-25-26 October 2023.
Distinguished academics from different countries will participate in the symposium, which is organized to shed light on the causes of the spiral of expectations and uncertainty in the Middle East, creating an environment for scientific debate and offering new insights into the search for solutions to the political problems of regional actors.
