Istanbul Gelişim University has added another achievement to its successes in science and technology with its innovative and value-added academic work. Assoc. Prof. Ayşe Meriç Yazıcı, a faculty member of our university, has been granted a patent by the Turkish Patent and Trademark Office for her invention of a flexible structure capable of storing solar energy.

This patent covers an innovative technology with a flexible structure that allows for more effective and efficient storage of solar energy. This invention is considered to have significant potential in terms of developing renewable energy systems, increasing energy efficiency, and contributing to sustainable environmental policies.

This patent success achieved by Assoc. Prof. Ayşe Meriç Yazıcı, who serves as the Vice Head of the International Trade and Business Department and Department Quality Coordinator at the Faculty of Economics, Administrative and Social Sciences, once again demonstrates Istanbul Gelişim University's vision of scientific production focused on research, innovation, and social benefit.
